HAX are a London-based, small independent agency of writers, photographers, designers, and marketing professionals. We specialise in helping creative people to express their ideas with integrity and passion. We are architecture specialists but we also work with designers, urbanists, engineers, cultural institutions and communications agencies to create compelling, captivating material. We take on a range of projects, and although we have also worked with global design practices in various guises, both in-house and freelance, no project is too small or large. Together we have decades of experience in the construction industry on three continents.
Who we are
Writing and Editing
We have over a decade of experience in journalism, marketing and publishing and we can write creative, compelling copy for any kind of project – books, brochures, D & A Statements, bids and proposals, even essays, articles, presentations, and press material. We are adaptable and diligent and are equally as comfortable deciphering the poetry in highly technical text, as we are with lighter marketing copy and lively opinion pieces. We can also ghost write in your own voice, or help shape and tidy your copy, as well as suggest improvements to make the piece stronger. We can write from scratch from just the seed of an idea, through direct dictation or interview through to the final draft.
Design and Branding
We provide fully integrated design and branding services – either standalone or to complement our writing offerings. With many years of experience working with architects and brands, we focus on creating clear, impactful designs that reflect your identity. We can also help create an identity, complete with brand guidelines to ensure your messaging is consistent across all platforms and materials.
Architectural Photography
We understand the power of architectural photography in capturing not just the design, but the way people interact with and inhabit spaces. With years of experience working closely with architects, we’ve planned and executed dozens of professional shoots. We believe photographs are an essential way to preserve and share the lasting impact of architecture, offering a glimpse into the life of a building long after it’s been built.
